Learning can be expensive. I just lost an entire morning's work. I guess the "hard way" is the "best way" for teaching anyone as hard-headed as me.

The purpose of the lost post was learning to include graphics in an article. Putting the image here was simple. Placing it where I want it within the text is another matter?

This image is of a chinese actress. Jane and I visited a replica of an ancient chinese village when we were in Hong Kong. This beautiful lady was kind enough to pose for this photo.

For my next trick, I will try adding a "link" to something interesting or, using hyperlink to further explain something important (important being relative.)

OH, I almost forgot that I want to try editing the image. I see how to resize, but how do I relocate the image?

We had an excellent lunch yesterday at Pappadeaux's in San Antonio. We had driven down to fill prescriptions at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston. Thanks, Kim, for the gift certificate. And, I just learned how to "hyperlink." Now, just clicking on the highlighted word (Pappadeaux's) takes you to the web page for Pappadeaux's. You can buy more gift certificates there. Cool, huh?

Yesterday, I learned to add a more permanent link under the Links heading on the right side of the page. You can see the slide show of Dillon's MX Camp by clicking on MotoCross Camp or, read the Google News by clicking on that title.

We had a nice rain Monday night and all day Tuesday. It was not enough, however, to resolve our "disappearing lake" issues. I am pumping water from more than 400' and need to add another 100'. Oscar and I took our morning walk along the shoreline and noticed our foot valve right at the surface. Another 100' of polypipe is expensive but much less than paying for the "city water" necessary to keep Jane's plants and flowers from burning up.

Jane is working in her gardens today. I'm totally consumed by this Blog thing. I was fine until my friend Bob Million referenced me to a mutual friend's Blog. It is totally fascinating. I'm learning. No telling what tomorrow will bring.

Working my way through the maze of blogging. I'll check soon to see about posting photos or graphics. Can I use this to post links to other sites?
